Measuring 13 x 6 x 5 inches overall, this metal lockbox is painted in a faux- hardwood pattern and lacks visible makers marks. A swiveling arm is mounted to the lid, a ball bearing on the underside, and a spring-loaded bell/blank cartridge mechanism on the inside. Turning the knob for the swivel arm turns on the alarm, after which lifting the box causes the ball bearing to descend, firing the cartridge and ringing the bell. The alarm can only be deactivated from the inside. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Very good, showing light external wear. The alarm is in good working order.
