This revolver is based on one of the many LeFaucheux designs which dominated the world of pinfire revolvers in the late 19th century. This example appears to be completely unmarked but is of very fine craftsmanship. It is fitted with a tall pinched blade front sight and hammer notch rear sight, a folding trigger, and a pair of checkered walnut grips. Includes a leather holster and belt pouch. This was a gift to the consignor from an employee whose father liberated it in World War II. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Very fine, retains 75% of the original high polish blue finish and 40% of the original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth brown-grey patina, and a some brown oxidation on the cylinder. The grips are also very fine with some light wear. Mechanically excellent. The ejection rod is absent. The holster and pouch are both fine with some mild wear.
