Manufactured in 1941. Ramped hooded beaded blade front, filled rear dovetail, and Lyman model 48 receiver peep sight, standard barrel markings and Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, factory drilled and tapped cloverleaf tang receiver, matching numbered bolt, and early safety. Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and some light wear at the muzzle. Stock is very fine with scattered light dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
