Description:

Manufactured in 1934. Hooded ramp front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail and Redfield receiver mounted peep sight. The top of the front receiver ring is drilled and tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard barrel and receiver markings including the Winchester oval proof mark on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a one-piece checkered walnut stock with a checkered steel buttplate and sling swivels. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The barrel and receiver retain 98% original blue finish with some mild thinning on the muzzle. The floor plate and trigger guard retain 95% original blue finish with three areas on each where the finish has flaked off. The stock is also excellent with only light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings remain sharp. Mechanically excellent.
