Manufactured between 1900 and 1910. Damascus barrels with single bead sight, marked "K/E/D/V" ahead of the flats on either barrel, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and full/full chokes. The casehardened action featured the scarce "OC" stamping on either side of the action which is explained by Charles Semmer on page 256 of "Remington Double Shotguns" to be a bad stamping that was not caught for over 10 years at Remington appearing on occasion from 1898 to 1910. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Plain figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend and round knob pistol grip stock and non-factory added Jostam rubber recoil pad. Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue Damascus finish, 75% original case colors with the balance a silver patina, and light handling evidence. The modified wood is fine, with a few minor marks, light edge wear, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
