Ramped, beaded blade front and five leaf (one standing, four folding) rear sight with level graduated out to 500 yards on the blued barrel which shows standard Austrian proofs along with period London proof marks. The blued action bares the model marking as well as the 1905 date of manufacture. The rifle features a folding peep sight on the bolt with another on the upper tang, double set triggers, and takedown capability with the removal of a single screw. Nicely flame figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with steel trapdoor grip cap, blank inscription oval, and checkered steel buttplate. Includes a canvas bound George Gibbs labelled takedown case with cleaning tools, leather sling, and turn screws. The case also contains a bone handled knife that is marked "A. H. Edland 1907" on the pommel with horn and silver scabbard which is marked with the same name and date.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with light handling evidence on the metal. The wood is very good with some scratches and pressure dent and worn but well-defined checkering. The case is good with moderate storage wear. Mechanically excellent.
