The coin finished boxlock action features floral scroll engraving surrounding a trio of mallards on the right and a dog flushing birds on the left. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three piece forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, white line grip cap, inscription oval marked "WD", and rubber recoil pad.
