Manufactured in 1986 with a boxed "AP" date stamp. Single steel bead sight on the matted, solid rib, right side of the top barrel marked "P. CONSTANTINE V" with import mark on the left side, chambers proved at 70 mm (2 3/4 inches) with automatic ejectors, and Italian proofs. The coin finished, sidelock action features deep cut floral scroll engraving over a matted background. The engraving is continued on the tangs, top lever, and triggerguard. The lower barrel is marked "PEDRETTI", however there is also an indiscernible signature on the trigger plate near the date "1986". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fitting including the push button release and straight grip stock with tear drop carved flats and checkered bare butt. Includes a leather bound takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 13.9 mm (.547 inches) and measured .553/.551 inches; choke constriction .027/.027 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 15 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 4 oz.
Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few minor marks, tiny spots of varnish wear, and sharp checkering. The case is very good with light storage type wear. Mechanically excellent.
