CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL" with 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and standard markings on the flats. The casehardened boxlock action features a single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety switch. Light zig-zag border engraving around the receiver on all sides. Highly figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with Deeley latch release and round knob pistol grip stock with blank inscription shield and steel buttplate over the checkered bare butt. The above configuration is confirmed on page 590 of "Parker Gun Identification and Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. According to page 258 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, this as one of only 463 produced in this combination of gauge, barrel length, and barrel steel with only 163 of total VH Grade production having a beavertail forend and 3% having a single trigger making this an exceedingly rare find.
