Manufactured in 1934. The revolver has an elevation adjustable blade front sight, a windage adjustable square notch rear sight, a barrel marked "NEW SERVICE" followed by "RUSSIAN AND/S&W SPECIAL" and "44" on the left side, checkered grip straps, and a crane numbered to the gun.
Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with light cylinder drag line and a spot of dark pitting at the muzzle. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
