The left side of the matching number slide is marked with the two-line address and patent dates, while the right side bears the caliber marking along with the Rampant Colt. The serial number is on the right of the frame, the left of the trigger guard is marked "X" over "VP", and the right of the trigger guard is marked "60". Fitted with blade and notch rear sights, wide checkered hammer, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, checkered walnut grips, and an ill-fitting full blue .38 Super Auto magazine. Provenance: The Gus Cargile Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good, retains 50% plus of the period refinished blue with the balance a smooth grey patina, primarily on the edges and grip straps. The grips are fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Apart from the tight magazine, mechanically fine.
