Description:

One of a limited number of approximately 125 commercial production registered full automatic M1A rifles. Fitted with a pair of National Match pattern sights, a long birdcage pattern flash hider with bayonet lug on the unmarked barrel, and standard M1A model/address markings on the receiver heel. The M14 pattern transfer bar and selector switch assembly is installed on the right side of the receiver, with proper cutouts for the former and extended lug for the latter. The unmarked stock is shaped to accommodate the selector hardware, with a flip-up shoulder rear. Includes a rear sight protector, a slip-over muzzle brake, a brown leather sling, and an unmarked Springfield box.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% plus original matte finish, showing some light handling marks on both metal and wood. The box shows wear and tear appropriate to age and travel. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
