Description:

Per the information supplied in "SS Walther PP/PPK Identification & Documents by Stepan" (page 16, copy supplied with lot), the "K under number" pattern of serial numbering on Walther pistols is directly associated with SS orders, and is not seen on commercial orders or other military/political contracts; while not on Stepan's list of documented serial numbers, this numbering pattern identifies the pistol to the SS. Fixed sights, with "208090/K" on the right side of the slide and frame, along with the traditional "Banner" pattern slide markings, "crown/N" proofs, and the matching hand-scribed number inside the slide. Fitted with a one-piece wraparound brown grip with Walther banners and two full blue magazines, numbered "208090/1K" and "208090/2K" on the spines, again matching the known SS pattern.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, scattered handling marks and scattered light pitting on left forward slide. The grips are very good, with some shrinkage and outward warpage/bending at the corners. Mechanically excellent.
