Originally manufactured in China by Poly Tech and imported by Keng's Firearm Specialty of Atlanta, Georgia as a semi-automatic rifle, this AKS was upgraded by SWD of Atlanta to a 7.62x39mm select fire assault rifle. Hooded post and tangent rear sights, with a threaded muzzle and a hinged spike bayonet attached to the front sight base. The original model and caliber markings on the receiver have been adjusted, with the trunnion bearing the "Factory 416" triangle logo on the left side, the KFS address on the underside ahead of the magazine well, and the SWD address alongside the trigger. The block post on the right side of the receiver has been altered and a new safety lever position cut, restoring the traditional AK "safe/full/semi" functionality to the selector. Matching numbers are present on the dust cover, recoil spring guide, bolt carrier and gas cylinder. Fitted with a smooth forearm, pistol grip, and buttstock with steel buttplate. Three extra magazines are included.

Very fine as upgraded to full auto, with 95% of the blue finish, showing some mild spotting and handling marks overall. The stock is fine, with some scuffing/chipping of the forearm from contact with the bayonet, a few scuffs and dings, and some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
