This factory converted U.S. Colt Model 1861 has the one-line New York barrel address (traces remain), two-line patent dates on the frame, "36 CAL" on left trigger guard shoulder, and navy scene on the cylinder. The barrel underside has U.S. Navy markings: "R.W.M.[anchor]." Matching numbers on barrel, frame, grip straps, loading gate and cylinder. Included is a much later production (20th century) tooled brown leather "slim Jim" style holster.
