This bronze depicts a young boy dressed in a full western outfit riding a bucking pony. The front two legs of the pony are off the ground in an attempt to throw the boy onto the ground behind the animal. The boy, however, has his arm thrown up likely to mimic what he had seen adults do when breaking horses on the ranch. The ground to the left of the duo is signed "Jim Davidson". The bronze rests on a circular marble base. Measures 35x14x22. Weights 60 lbs.
