A) Ottoman Flintlock Pistol

The barrels and locks have untranslated Arabic or Farsi calligraphic script and are decorated in gold with floral, crescent moon and star, and martial designs. The locks have semi-rain proof pans with gold lining, frizzen spring rollers, and reinforced goose-neck cocks. The furniture is silver with cast and engraved floral patterns, and the full-length stock have incredibly extensive silver inlaid floral scroll patterns and false ramrods.

ConditionVery good with most of the bright original gold remaining, aged patina on the silver, dark brown patina on the balance, attractive Damascus patterns on the barrel, and mild overall wear. The stock is also very good and has some chips and repairs mainly in the pommel section, general mild overall wear, and small pieces of inlay damaged or absent. Mechanically fine.

ConditionVery good with most of the bright original gold remaining, distinct Damascus patterns along the barrel, dark brown patina on the balance of the iron, dark aged patina on the silver, and mild overall wear. The stock is also very good and has some chips, cracks, and small repairs by the lock and pommel and small spots of absent or damaged silver inlay. The lock fit is off, but it is mechanically fine.
