Description:

Manufactured in 1944. The left of the slide has the two-line Remington-Rand address, "P" proof on top, and the frame is marked with the standard U.S. property and army nomenclature on the right with the serial number, while the left has an "FJA" inspection mark and "P" proof. Fitted with blade and notch sights, checkered narrow hammer, long grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing, full blue barrel with "P" and "HS" lug, reinforced grips, and blued "L" magazine. Includes a Kraft style box with military markings and hand marked matching serial number on the lid, extra magazine, a War Department pistols and revolvers field manual dated June 1946, and U.S. officer's style leather holster, belt, and dual magazine pouch.

Rating Definition:

Excellent as issued, retains 99% plus of the original parkerized finish with a few scattered very light handling marks and only the slightest edge wear. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster rig is also excellent.
