The casehardened hand detachable sidelock action displays beautiful scroll work surrounding floral designs which extends to the tangs, trigger guard, and toplever. The gun features double triggers, bushed firing pins, and an automatic tang mounted safety switch with gold inlaid "S". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings, including the Anson button release and straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Includes a leather bound takedown case, Orvis leather slip on forend, cleaning tools, and snap caps. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.4 mm (.724 inches) and measured at .727/.725 inches; choke constriction .004/.010 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.033 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 10 oz.
