Blued Bohler Antinit steel barrels with blade front sight, automatic flip up rear sight, and German claw scope mounts (which hold a Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5-6x42 scope) on the matted solid rib, dual gold band at either shotgun muzzle, engraving on the scope mounts, rifle barrel marked with the caliber "7X65R", and 70 mm (2 3/4 inch) chambers with extractors on the shotgun barrels. The coin finished hand detachable sidelock action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding game scenes on either side as well as "KRIEGHOFF/NEPTUNE PRIMUS" on the underside. The left game scene shows a roaring red stag with four hinds in a forest/field scene and the right side has a roebuck and two does in a forest scene. The gun features dual gold triggers, cocking indicators for the shotgun barrels, manual cocking piece for the rifle barrel, and manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, skip-line checkered French walnut forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with raised cheek piece and polymer grip cap and buttplate with white-line spacers. Includes a leather bound takedown case, importation paperwork, nickel oiler, and leather sling.
