Blued steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, standard Krieghoff markings, German proofs dating to 2020, interchangeable chokes (light modified/modified installed), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The casehardened action displays deeply engraved floral scrollwork with gold inlaid borders surrounding gold inlaid game scenes on either side and "KRIEGHOFF/K-80/GERMANY/EST. 1886" on the underside. The scroll continues to the top tang, trigger guard, and toplever which is inlaid with a gold crown. The gold game scene on the right shows a pointer flushing a trio of pheasants in a field scene and the left shows a pointer flushing a trio of partridge in another field scene. Both scenes are rendered in exquisite detail. The trigger plate is signed "H. LAUPHEIMER" on the right hand side. The gun features a single selective gold trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley style release, and pistol grip stock with an adjustable comb, right hand palm swell, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Includes a Krieghoff takedown case with snap caps and stock removal tool. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.6 mm (.732 inches) and measured at .732/.733 inches; minimum wall thickness .042/.043 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb (current); 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 13 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, gold, and casehardened finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
