Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted Broadway vent rib, standard Browning markings, floral scroll engraving at the upper breech, chokes marked "**-"/"*-" (improved cylinder/improved modified), and 2 3/4" chambers with automatic ejectors. The greyed sideplated boxlock action displays fantastic floral scroll engraving surrounding beautifully executed game scenes on the left, right, underside, and trigger guard. The left sideplate shows a covey of pheasant tucked away in a wooded scene, the right sideplate has four mallards in a pond scene, the underside has a solitary pigeon in flight over a field, and the trigger guard shows the bust of a setter. The left sideplate is signed J.P.BAILLY" for Browning Master Engraver Jean-Pierre Bailly. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted manual safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with Schnabel tip and engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with teardrop carved flats and skip-line checkered bare butt. Includes a leather bound Browning Custom Shop takedown case and a pair of nickel snap caps. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.726 inches; choke constriction .013/.025 inches; minimum wall thickness .037/.039 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 15 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 14 oz.

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue and grey finishes, minor handling evidence, and a slight rub ahead of the forend. The wood is very fine with a few scattered minor nicks and scratches, light high edge wear on the pistol grip, and sharp checkering. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
