Manufactured in 1951. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib, floral engraving at the upper breech, chokes marked "**-"/"**" (improved cylinder/modified), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey boxlock action displays full coverage scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on both sides and relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs at the top of the action. Signed "F.FUNKEN" on both sides of the action at the low rear for Master Engraver Felix Funken. The gun features a gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with brown rubber Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at the comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at the heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with the majority of the loss at the muzzles and near the upper breech, 95% coin finish with some minor discoloration, and light handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with reapplied varnish, a few light handling marks, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
