Manufactured in 1992 and subsequently engraved by Master Engraver Ben Shostle. This revolver features a gold band at the muzzle, two gold bands at the breech which extend onto the ejector housing, as well as a spray of floral scroll engraving coming from the breech end of the barrel, barrel markings in panels, and two small flourishes coming off the muzzle. The frame features floral scroll engraving with patriotic shields on the loading gate and recoil shield. The cylinder has floral scroll engraving between the flutes with half starbursts under the notches of the cylinder, two gold bands at the rear with a wavy line between them. The gripstraps also feature floral scroll engraving with a relief carved patriotic eagle at the top of the back strap and intertwining lines gold inlaid surrounding more wavy line accents. The grip features checkering in a fleur de lis pattern panel. Ben Shostle's signature "SHOSTLE" is engraved below the recoil shield on the left side of the frame. Includes a Colt blue box.

Excellent overall as master engraved by Ben Shostle, retaining 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes with minimal handling marks, crisp engraving, a and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with storage and handling marks.
