Manufactured in 1974 and subsequently engraved by Colt Master Engraver Denise Thirion. The revolver has standard markings and features as well as full coverage floral scroll engraving with the Rampant Colt in a circular panel with gold inlaid border, rope motif below the barrel markings and wavy line motif on the top strap. The right side of the grip frame is signed "D.THIRION" beneath the grips. Includes a copy of a letter describing another gun for sale in this auction [WSW84] which was also engraved by Thirion as well as stating the revolver was offered to the original owner by Thirion in 2010 which mentions the revolver by serial number.

Excellent as embellished by Colt Master Engraver Denise Thirion, retaining 99% plus factory quality reapplied blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and bright gold inlay. Grips are very fine with a few small dings and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
