Description:

This 8 x 13 7/8 inch print of wild horses and cattle being rounded up on the prairie in Montana is marked with L.A. Huffman's copyright in the lower right corner and "Evening at the Round-up" in the center-left, both in white ink. The frame measures 14 1/8 x 20 1/4 inches. Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) was among the few photographers to capture ranching life in Montana in the late 19th century and enlarged many of his earlier photographs later in his life.

Rating Definition:

Fine, the print showing a distinct image overall with some scattered minor staining on the print and the matting. The frame shows some moderate wear, including corner separation and edge wear.
