This blunderbusses with folding stocks were reportedly nicknamed "wolf killers" in Italy. The breech section of the barrel is engraved with scroll work and wavy line patterns and marked "LAZARO * LAZARINO" on top and "LB" on the left. The barrel has an elliptical muzzle which measures 2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches tall. The lock has coordinating scroll engraving and an eagle design on the cock screw. The iron furniture is also decorated with scroll patterns along with repeating eagle motifs. The sideplate has two holes for mounting a now absent saddle ring or hook. The stock is hinged at the wrist with a push button release on top of the wrist and hinged on the underside. The stock has decorative floral carving and molding.
