Description:

Manufactured during the inter-war Weimar Era. Fixed sights, no date marking on top of the chamber and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. A set of crown "B", "U" and "G" proofs are present on the barrel along with a "118,35" over the serial number, "B" and "U" on the extension, and "B" on the breechblock. Crown/N" proofs are present on the barrel, extension and front toggle. Matching external "civilian pattern" serial numbers. Fitted with straw colored small parts, niter blue pins, springs and screws, checkered grips and a nickel magazine with an unnumbered wood base. This pistol is attributed by the consignor to the collection of Robert Bretherton.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing some minor edge wear, spotting and handling marks. 85% of the bright original straw color is present on the small parts, and 60% of the vivid niter blue. The grips are very fine, with some minor dings and a flat spot on the right upper panel. Mechanically excellent.
