Made in Belgium after World War II, this pistol is marked as an Austrian Police contract handgun, specifically for the State Gendarmerie of the Carinthia region. Serrated blade front and fixed rear sights, with matching serial numbers on the barrel, slide and frame and standard slide markings. The frontstrap and the baseplates of both included magazines are marked "LGK K/0073", and a pair of checkered grips are installed. One of the magazine bodies has been marked in red enamel on the sides, the other in white. Included with the pistol is a brown leather Austrian Police style holster with shoulder strap, and a plain shipping box.

Very fine, with 75% plus original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, light scratches concentrated on the top of the slide, and a mixed gray and brown patina on the gripstraps. The grips are fine, with crisp checkering, some dings and scratches. The holster shows some minor stains and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
