These designs surround an oval game scene of a trio of pheasants taking flight on the left, an oval scene of a trio of grouse in flight on the right, and a pheasant and two grouse around "K-80/KRIEGHOFF/Germany" on the underside. The engraving is signed "KN" on the right side of the triggerplate. The gun features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch.
