Manufactured in 1960. Red front and white mid bead sights on the matte, ventilated rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, chokes marked modified/improved modified, and light floral engraving at the breech. The French gray action features tight scroll engraving with a pair of pigeons on either side and two rose bouquets on the underside, manual selective safety, and single gold washed trigger. The lower right side of the action is signed "M. Nicolai" for FN Master Engraver Marcel Nicolai. Fitted in a nicely figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forend with engraved fittings, checkered flats, and a ventilated recoil pad with leather covered butt.
