Blued steel barrel with hooded ramped beaded blade front sight, adjustable folding rear sight, standard markings, and 2 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving on either side of the breech. The coin finished action displays beautiful floral scroll engraving as well as a two game scenes on the receiver ring. The left side shows a bugling elk in a forested scene and the right has a running pronghorn in a field scene. The bottom metal shows the same floral scroll engraving with a mule deer buck engraved on the magazine floorplate and a grizzly bear on the trigger guard. The gun is signed "A.MARECHAL" on the left side of the receiver ring for Browning Master Engraver Alfonse Marechal, "GRECO" on the floorplate for one of the Greco family and "LS" on the trigger guard likely for L. Severien. The gun is mounted in a beautifully figured, fancy checkered walnut stock with contrasting forend tip, blank inscription diamond on the contrasting gripcap, and Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning factory letter confirming the grade and caliber when it was sold on September 20, 1971 to "The Gun Store of Kalmath Falls, OR.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent.
