Manufactured circa 1952-1957, the serial number correctly falls into the noted serial number range (C247000-C405363) of USAF M13s. The barrel has the standard S&W and caliber markings, The left side of the top strap is marked "REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13" and the back strap is marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE". The letter "P" is marked on the left side of the frame and the serial number is on the butt. It has a black anodized finish with a blued steel barrel, casehardened hammer and trigger, and is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes a black leather "U.S.A.F. marked holster.

Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue and black anodized finishes with some light edge wear, a cylinder drag line, and some scattered light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some mild wear and one of the belt loop snaps absent.
