Description:

Blade front and two-leaf rear peep sight, "8-43" dated Underwood barrel, "UI" Type I barrel band, flat top bolt, milled trigger guard, "LT-Q" hammer, push-button safety and "SN" magazine catch. Reproduction high wood stock with "TRIMBLE/TN" in the sling cutout and "NPM/FJA" boxed cartouche and crossed cannons on the right of the buttstock. Includes brown canvas sling, oiler, "U.S." zip-up brown canvas case, Springfield Research Service letter, and a copy of the October 30th, 1943 dated shipping ticket showing delivery to "2nd. Lt. George H Bookbinder/Rm. 2133, 'Q' Bldg./Office of Strategic Services."

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 90% original parkerized finish with some scattered areas of light surface corrosion on the bottom of the triggerguard, and sharp markings in the metal. Stock is also excellent with a patch of minor scuffs on the right of the forend, a few mild gouges on the lower right of the buttstock, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent.
