Fitted with fixed sights, the left side of the slide marked with the Walther banner, two-line address/patent/caliber markings and "Mod PP", matching hand-scribed number on the interior, and "eagle/N" proofs on the muzzle, chamber hood, and slide. Additionally, "R.J." is stamped on the front grip strap. Still shrouded in mystery, the "R.J." marking has been found on a number of Walther pistols and has been attributed to the Reichs Ministry of Justice and the Interior Ministry. Fitted with black "WALTHER" banner grips and a flat base magazine.
Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with some light edge wear and a few scattered light handling marks, including a series of light scratches on the upper right of the slide. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
