Manufactured as a limited run of 20 pistols for high ranking officials across the globe to commemorate the new millennium. This pistol was presented to Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso. Cardoso was the president of Brazil from 1995 to 2002. He is most well known for his work to increase human rights and attempts to close the poverty gap in the country. One of his most controversial political moves to achieve this goal was the denationalization of government owned economic sectors such as steel milling and mining. This Makarov features a deep blue finish with silver inlaid outlines on both sides of th slide as well as having the slide legends inlaid in Silver. The frame has the serial number inlaid in silver with an outline on the front strap and right side as well. The pistol is fitted with a wraparound plastic grip featuring the Arsenal logo on the right and a thumb rest on the left.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling marks and an attractive patina on the silver inlays. Mechanically excellent.
