This is an excellent example of a M1 Thompson semi-automatic rifle as manufactured by Kahr Arms via their Auto-Ordnance Subsidiary. These were produced as copies of the original war expedient M1 Thompson SMGs only in semi-automatic. This example has had a correct 10.5 inch smooth M1 type barrel installed. It has the standard Auto-Ordnance markings on both sides of the receiver with the left side marked "CALIBER .45M1". It has the correct style fixed front sight, fixed "L" type war expedient rear sight, horizontal walnut forearm, pistol grip and fixed (non-detachable) buttstock. Includes a hard plastic Thompson-branded carrying case.

Excellent, retains 97% original blue finish with crisp markings in the metal. Wood is also excellent with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
