Produced in 1956 which was the second year of production for the model. It features a raised blade front sight on a vent rib barrel and an adjustable notch rear mounted on the frame. The topstrap has a matte finish with the remainder of the metal surfaces a polished blue. Standard markings, with a checkered hammer, serrated trigger, beveled cylinder front edge and serrated back strap. The grips are checkered walnut with gold Colt medallions inlaid into each side.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish remains with light dings and surface scratches and most of the finish loss at the high edges and muzzle. Moderate drag line on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with a few dings on the bottom and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
