The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 6 inch barrel chambered in .38 Special with blue finish and stocks not listed when shipped to B& S Industries in North Charleston, South Carolina, on February 10, 1971. The letter further remarks that this is one of only 496 revolvers in the J serial number range manufactured. The model was made for only two years before being dropped due to being overly similar to the Python revolver and requiring a price increase. Includes original Colt "woodgrain" box and test target numbered to the gun.

Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with scattered light handling marks, cylinder drag line, some holster- type wear at the muzzle, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with limited handling marks and some edge wear on the lid.
