This revolver was manufactured in 1894 and has the classic "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" marking on the left side of the barrel and other standard markings and features. Some of these revolvers have been identified as used by the Texas Rangers. The George Lawrence Co. cartridge belt has a George Tritch Hardware Co. marked holster, and both have lightly tooled borders.
Fine with 40% original blue finish, some holster and handling wear, fading to smooth gray and brown patina, some spots of light oxidation/pitting, and general mild overall wear. The grips are very good and exhibit aged tones, distinct checkering and embossing with mild handling wear, and a small crack at the heel on the right. Mechanically fine. The accessories are also fine with mild overall wear.
