Manufactured in 1874 with standard markings, including what appears to be traces of an etched panel on the left of the desirable 4 inch barrel and British proofs on the cylinder. Matching numbers are present on the left of the grip frame and inked inside the both grip panels. It has standard features. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and fourteen .41 RF cartridges.
Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish and 80% of the vibrant original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are also fine with some light dings and scratches scattered throughout. The cylinder does not rotate or lock up (missing parts), otherwise mechanically functions. The case is fine with a small chip and minor crack on the bottom front left corner, and otherwise some minor handling/storage marks scattered throughout.
