Also present are five patches featuring the WWII-era emblem of the 85th Fighter Squadron (a flying skull with wings, two painted on leather, one printed on treated canvas, and two embroidered), two patches for the Desert Air Force ("DAF" over a winged shield with American and British roundels, one embroidered and one in bullion wire), and an unidentified patch (gold bullion on green rectangular field, featuring a standing falcon and a snake hanging off a red sun). Provenance: The Putnam Green/Sycamore Collection

Rating Definition:

The falcon patch shows wear and holes, with some mild staining on the bullion DAF patch and light handling marks and wear overall.
