Description:

Originally manufactured by Colt in the 1980s and converted to full automatic by Hard Times Armory of Smyrna, Georgia, this is a transferable version of the "Colt SMG" pistol caliber machine gun. Post front and two-leaf rear sights, with an A1 flash hider on the barrel with a ribbed handguard, extended plastic casing deflector, and no forward assist. The lower receiver has the Hard Times markings added to the front of the magazine well and the "AUTO" full auto mark added to the rear selector position on the left side. The lower has been permanently modified to accept an auto-sear, the bolt assembly is the proper weighted SMG model, and the upper has a reduced diameter pivot pin hole; an offset adapter pin is installed to accommodate this. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip, two position telescoping buttstock, and a black nylon sling. Provenance: The Al Walker Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine as assembled and upgraded to full auto, with 95% plus original matte black finish, showing some touch-ups on the buffer tube nut and around the bolt catch, as well as some light handling marks . The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
