Blade front and tangent rear sights, "1917" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension with "Imperial Eagle" firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock, and the proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings are present on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. The overall finish is blue, with straw colored small parts, niter blue pins and springs, and checkered grips. Minus the magazine (mixed) and grips (blank), numbers are matching overall. With a brown leather flap holster with a 1917 dated maker's mark stamped inside the flap, a takedown tool, and a wood-handled bore rod. Provenance: The Mel Raucher Collection
Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, and scattered handling marks and spotting overall. The small parts show 80% of the bright original straw and niter blue finish. Grips are excellent, with a few dings and dark spots on the otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is good, with mild scuffs and cuts overall, a few areas of repaired stitching, and heavier wear on the bore rod pouch. Mechanically excellent.
