Blade and notch sights, with the Walther banner, two-line address/caliber marking and "Mod HP" on the left side of the slide, commercial "crown/N" proofs on the right side of the slide, barrel and frame, and matching numbers on the right side of the frame, front of the barrel lug, and underside of the slide and locking lug. The magazine is numbered "1563" and the grips are checkered black plastic with "Cewe", "480" and "1" mold markings on the interior.
Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing a number of tiny dings and scratches on the barrel and slide, lighter wear on the frame, bright edges, and minor spotting. The serial number on the frame has a restruck digit, with the "6" applied over a "7", possibly the result of a factory misstrike on the serial number, and the underside of the frame and the magazine floorplate are marked "89" with black marker. The grips are fine, with mild scuffs. The magazine catch hangs up on the floorplate a bit, otherwise mechanically excellent.
