Manufactured between 1935 and 1939, S&W Registered Magnum's were virtually custom made "state of the art" revolvers that popularized big game handgun hunting and forged the legacy of the .357 Magnum cartridge. This revolver bears the Reg. #3323 stamped on the inside of the frame. The revolver is fitted with a pinned blade front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight, humpback hammer, S&W silver medallion checkered grips, and S&W grip adapter. Matching serial numbers appear on the butt, cylinder, and ejector shroud.

Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with scattered handling marks, muzzle wear, cylinder front face flash marks, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are good with softened checkering, a couple dings, and some marks suggesting the revolver was used as a hammer. Mechanically excellent.
