Description:

Manufactured as a Blackpowder Series Colt 1860 Army, subsequently master engraved by the world renowned firm of Adams & Adams as a run of a mere 35 pieces, and finished by Doug Turnbull. Below the serial number is the signature "J. ADAMS". The revolver is housed in an Adams & Adams made hardwood case with maroon velvet lining and a mirror inserted into the lid. A brass plaque on the exterior reads "ADAMS & ADAMS/NORTH SOUTH/~1861 CIVIL WAR/SESQUICENTENNIAL 2011~/COMMEMORATIVE 1860 ARMY". The included invoice for the revolver and case is signed by John Adams Jr. likely pointing to him as the engraver.

Rating Definition:

Exceptionally fine overall as masterfully engraved by John Adams. Retaining 99% plus Doug Turnbull high gloss blue and vibrant case colors with limited handling marks, an exceptionally faint cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with minimal storage and handling marks and light high edge wear on the lining.
