These Spanish made CETME rifles were based on the design developed by the German engineer Ludwig Vorgrimler in 1945 who also used this design to develop the experimental German StG 45(M). These rifles use the same type of delayed roller-lock mechanism that eventually evolved into the extremely successful and very famous HK91/93/G3 series of rifles. Shows the standard large MARS Equipment Corp. import mark on the right side of the receiver and "CETME "Sport"" on the left. With ventilated hardwood forearm and stock, scope mounting blocks on top of the receiver, contoured pistol grip, and ventilated CETME recoil pad. Includes a green nylon sling.
Excellent overall, retaining 97% original parkerized finish with limited handling marks, and a few scattered scuffs. Paint accents have been applied to the front sight post and open rear notch. Furniture is very fine with some light finish loss, scattered light dings, and a slightly oversized recoil pad.
