These Spanish made CETME rifles were based on the design developed by the German engineer Ludwig Vorgrimler in 1945 who also used this design to develop the experimental German StG 45(M). These rifles use the same type of delayed roller-lock mechanism that eventually evolved into the extremely successful and very famous HK91/93/G3 series of rifles. Shows the standard large MARS Equipment Corp. import mark on the right side of the receiver and "CETME "Sport" on the left. With ventilated hardwood forearm and stock, scope mounting blocks on top of the receiver, contoured pistol grip, and ventilated CETME recoil pad.
Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original parkerized finish with limited handling marks and a couple dings in the furniture.
