Manufactured in 1871 with standard features. The top of the barrel has the two-line address flanked by Maltese crosses, British proofs on the barrel and cylinder, and matching numbers on the barrel and butt, while the interior of the grip panels appear to be inked with the number "1998", which may be a factory error. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, and key.
Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original nickel plating with a few scattered areas of minor flaking, revealing mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are fine with a few scattered minor handling marks and retaining much of the crazed original varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine overall with some mild handling/storage wear.
